Good morning, Ladies!
We are heading into the middle of our summer study and I know Numbers is not the easiest book to read, but I want to encourage you to keep reading and seeking God's Word. I know many of us are beginning a new school year and that brings a new busyness in and of itself, but don't give up! Keep studying! Here is this week's reading plan: Monday - Numbers 12 Tuesday - Numbers 13 Wednesday - Numbers 14 Thursday - Numbers 15 Friday - Numbers 16 I look forward to checking back in with you, later this week! I'm praying for you! Joyfully His, Andrea

Good afternoon!
We are jumping into week 3 of our summer study and we are knee deep into Numbers. What are you learning? Here is this week's reading plan: Monday - Numbers 7 Tuesday - Numbers 8 Wednesday - Numbers 9 Thursday - Numbers 10 Friday - Numbers 11 I have not done very well with my Scripture memory, so this week let's try to memorize together. Colossians 3:12 "Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. " I'm praying for each of you this week! Keep reading God's Word! Joyfully His, Andrea I consider it a great honor and privilege when someone asks me to pray for them or to pray about something important to them. In some situations it is the only thing I can do for that person; it's also the best I can do. When I'm asked to pray for someone, nine times out of ten, I pray immediately. Sometimes out loud, but mostly quiet, just pleading to the Lord on that person's behalf.
This isn't the kind of prayers I'm talking about today. Today, I'm talking about praying for my fellow Christians for this reason alone: they are my brothers and sisters in Christ. When is the last time I just prayed for other believers? In Colossians, chapter 1, Paul not only gives us an example of praying for our fellow Christians but also shares the promises that come with those prayers. "So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. We also pray that you will be strengthened with all His glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to His people, who live in the light." ~ Colossians 1: 9-12 I should be praying for other believers. Life is hard, and prayer is meant to strengthen us. As we are praying for each other let's lift up these three things: 1. Ask God to give your brothers and sisters in Christ, complete knowledge of His will, spiritual wisdom and understanding. * Receiving these gifts of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding will result in living lives that are pleasing and honorable to God. Lives that produce every good fruit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,, gentleness, and self-control ~ Galatians 5:22-23). 2. Ask God to strengthen them with His glorious power. * In return, they will receive patience and endurance. 3. Ask God to fill them with joy. * The result of joy is thankfulness. You can't have a heart full of joy without having an overflow of thanksgiving. I'm going to start here, with these three things. Purposefully reminding myself to not only pray for specific needs that are asked of me, but to truly pray for that person. Praying for God to give them knowledge, wisdom, understanding, strength, and utter joy. Will you join me? I'm praying these things for you today. I may not know your name, but God knows each reader and He knows each need and He is faithful to answer our prayers according to His will. If you have a special prayer request please let me know in the comments. I would be honored to pray for you. Keep reading God's Word! Joyfully His, Andrea Hello Sweet Sisters!
I'm a bit behind this week, so I will jump straight to our reading plan: Monday - Numbers 2 Tuesday - Numbers 3 Wednesday - Numbers 4 Thursday - Numbers 5 Friday - Numbers 6 I am praying for you this week. May God open your heart, eyes and ears to ALL He has for you in His word. Keep reading! Joyfully His, Andrea |
For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. " AuthorHi!
