Hello, Sweet Friends!
It's been awhile since we've gathered together here. It wasn't my intention to take such a long break from our studies, but God had other plans. A lot has happened in our lives over the last two months, and honestly, it's been amazing to see Him work. Our family was set to move over 2 hours away for my Hubby's new job on May 2nd. The start date for his new job was May 7th. We had our new rental lined up, the U-haul reserved, and we had began our packing. Exactly one week before our move day, April 25th to be exact, our housing fell through. We spent the next week scrambling to find a home with no avail. Let's just say, it's not easy to find a rental home big enough for our family, in our small budget, and most landlords aren't crazy about renting to a family with 5 kids at home. By the 1st of May, we had no home and my hubby felt like he needed to turn down the job offer because he didn't find it fair to the new business to wait to last minute. So, in faith we stayed here, and waited for God to bring another great opportunity to our family, praying that He would work quickly and place us exactly where He wanted us to be. And He did. The last two months have been crazy: we are still adjusting to our new family size, we finished up our school year, my Hubby's sweet Grandmother went home to be with Jesus, we worried more than we should have about how God was going to provide for us, and then in ways that are just unbelievable, we have seen Him at work. My husband began his new career on July 2nd, right here where God brought us 3 years ago. We can now see He God has worked things together for our good and we are so thankful and excited to see what He has in store for our family. So, this break wasn't planned, but it has been full of God's loving grace. I am so grateful for what He has given us, and what He has taught us as we have waited. I pray I never take those lessons for granted. Now, that I am beginning to get back on track and into a normal routine I don't want to wait another second to jump into our next Bible study. This will be a late summer study, but God's timing is always perfect! :) Starting next Monday, July 30th, we will begin reading in Colossians and finish with Numbers. I'll post the weekly reading plan on Mondays, and try to check in through the week. I have some other posts that I would like to share here as the Lord pushes me to do so, but most importantly, I just want to support each of you as you are spending daily time with Jesus. Share this study with all the ladies you know, because all of us can benefit from encouragement and accountability as we strive to read and know God's Word. I'm so excited to jump back into Scripture with you! I'll be praying for you! "And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them." ~ Romans 8: 26-28 Joyfully His, Andrea
