Good morning!
Wow! It's been a full seven weeks in our reading! Leviticus is not an easy read but I have enjoyed reading more in depth, of God's laws and regulations for His people. What have you learned? This will be our last week in our spring study. We will take a short break next week and jump right back in with Scripture for the summer months. More details will be posted later this week. Here is this week's reading plan: Monday- Leviticus 23 Tuesday - Leviticus 24 Wednesday - Leviticus 25 Thursday - Leviticus 26 Friday - Leviticus 27 How have you been doing with your Scripture memorization? I know it's hard to add extra things into our daily schedules, but learning, committing and hiding God's Word in our hearts, is certainly worth it! Our previous verses: "Therefore, put on ______ ______ of God's ______ so you will be able to _______ ____ ______ in the time of _____. Then after the _______you will still be _________ _____. Stand your _______, putting on the _____ ___ _______ and the body armor of God's ______________." ~ Ephesians 6:13-14 Scripture of the week: "For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared." ~ Ephesians 6:15 Have a wonderful week! I am praying for each of you! Joyfully His, Andrea

Good morning, Sweet Sisters,
Because this week has gotten away from me quickly, we will tackle 3 chapters this week and try to finish out Leviticus next week! Here is this week's reading plan: Thursday - Leviticus 20 Friday - Leviticus 21 Saturday - Leviticus 22 I'm sorry, once again, for the delay. I'll keep this short and sweet. :) Keep reading God's word! Joyfully His, Andrea It's truly the sweetest word I've ever heard. The sound of it never gets old and only gets sweeter the more I hear it. It's a word that changes with the season of my children's lives, but whether it's Mommy, Mama, or Mom, it melts my heart each time it's spoken to me.
I have been given a great privilege in owning this title. It's a title that I don't take for granted or do I take it lightly. The occupation of mother comes with great responsibility, much reward and it doesn't always come easy. I am deeply honored that I have been chosen and given six blessings this side of heaven and one little angel waiting there for me. Being a mom has made me who I am today, and it's because of those sweet children that I celebrate today. When Mother's Day rolls around each year, most people think it's all about celebrating the mothers in your life. And it is. I am one of the lucky ones. My Mama is the best! She has loved me, spoiled me, cared for me, prayed for me, supported me, helped me, encouraged me, picked me up and walked by my side for the past 35 years. She didn't stop "raising" me when I turned 18, or got married, or when I became a mom. No, she still prays for me, guides me and takes care of me. She's the one I go to for "mommy" advice, and I still call her with cooking questions, and when I am stressed or worried she's the one I call and say "make me feel better about this". She took care of me when I was little, when I was sick or hurt and even now she gives of herself to come stay with me and help care for my family when I bring a new little one into the world (or break my leg). She's my Mama, and I am so proud to be her daughter. And then there's my mother-in-law. I have known my sweet hubby's mama since I was 14 years old. I began working at her florist when I was 15, and I guess you can say she helped raise me too. She will always be special to me, she gave me my husband. It's not easy to raise little boys into strong, loyal, hard-working, caring, loving, compassionate, wise, honest, responsible men.....but that's exactly what she did. My hubby is who he is today because he has a mother who loves him and prays for him each and every day. But for me, Mother's Day isn't just about celebrating and appreciating our moms, to me- it's about celebrating my kids. After all, I wouldn't be a mother without them. So today, in honor of my children, I want to share how I feel about being their mom. To my six babies: I always wanted to be a mom and a teacher. Through God's abundant grace, I've been honored with both. God gave me each of you at just the right time and He has allowed me the great gift of homeschooling you, too. I want you to know that being your mom is my greatest joy and I am so grateful God gave you to me. I've been a mom for almost 17 years now and you have all taught me so much. You have taught me to be patient, to laugh, to be kind, to be persistent, to work harder, to listen, to be humble, to be selfless and to love deeper. Being a mom isn't always easy. Sometimes its downright exhausting! But I have enjoyed every moment! You make me appreciate the little things as well as the big. As each of you have been born, I've realized even more how precious you all are and how truly blessed I am to have you. God didn't just give me 6 kids, he chose and created each one of you just for me. He chose me to be your mom: to love you, nurture you, care for you, train you, guide you, and teach you. I don't take this responsibility lightly. I want to love and raise you guys, well. Each year, on your birthday, I share with you the story of your birth. I do this for two reasons: (1) I don't want to forget any detail and (2) I want you to know how special, unique, and important you are. You are all so very special! You make me so happy and so proud to be your mama! I am so grateful for the great privilege of being home with you guys all the time. I have no regrets because I haven't missed a thing. I've been with you for every milestone: your first step, your first word, your first laugh. I taught you how to spell your name, how to read, how to ride a bike and so much more. I've watched you grow from infants to toddlers to children to preteens and now I have teenagers. I have a front row seat as each of you are pursuing your own talents and interests. You sweet children are not only my greatest gifts, but you are also my biggest reward. I am a mom. No other title, accomplishment or degree could ever give me a higher honor. You guys are my legacy and I love each of you with all my heart. I want you to know that I will always be here for you. No matter how old you are, you will always be important to me. I will be here to listen when you need to talk, help when you need a hand, give advice when you are struggling and I pray for you each and every day. I will always love you and nothing, NOTHING, could ever change that. You are mine, a part of me that will always have ALL of my heart. Thank you for bringing me such joy. Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you for challenging me. Thank you for making me think. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for your sweet hugs and kisses. Thank you for calling me: Mommy, Mom, Mama. I am absolutely loving watching each of you grow into the fine young men and ladies that God is molding you to be. I can't wait to see all that He has in store for each of you and I am so thankful He has chosen me, to be your Mama! Love always, Mom And to all of you mothers: Happy Mother's Day! Your children were chosen for you alone. No matter how old they are today, let them know how thankful you are that God gave them to you! Joyfully His, Andrea Good afternoon!
In true "Andrea" fashion, I'm a day behind schedule. As hard as I try to be punctual, it just never works out well for me. :) Here is this week's reading plan: Tuesday - Leviticus 15 Wednesday - Leviticus 16 Thursday - Leviticus 17 Friday - Leviticus 18 Saturday - Leviticus 19 Our previous verse: "Therefore, put on ______ ______ of God's ______ so you will be able to _______ ____ ______ in the time of _____. Then after the _______you will still be _________ _____." ~ Ephesians 6:13 Scripture of the week: "Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness." ~ Ephesians 6:14 I'm praying for you this week! Joyfully His, Andrea Hello, Sweet Sisters!
I am so sorry I am a few days behind this week. We were supposed to be moving this week, but God closed that door at the last minute and we are trying to get our ducks in a row over here. With that being said, I will keep this short and sweet and get right to our reading plan for the week. Leviticus 10 - 14 I'm praying for each of you and hopefully by Monday I will be back on track! Keep reading God's word! Joyfully His, Andrea |
