Tis' a wonderful day the Lord has made, let's enjoy some quality quiet time in His Word today! :) I'm so excited to begin this new Spring Study with you. I can't wait to see how God speaks to us through our reading of Scripture! Over the next seven weeks, we will read one chapter a day starting with the book of Ephesians and ending with Leviticus. Meet me here each Monday for our reading schedule and memory verse and check back through the week. I may post some study notes, my personal thoughts on our reading, or just a real life post about things God is working on in my own life. To receive notice of any new posts, just sign up with the RSS feed in the margin. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to be able to jump back into Scripture with both feet, and I'm extra excited about sharing this journey with you! Share this study with all your friends and feel free to use it for your small group study. And always remember: I'm praying for you each week. I can't see your faces, or hear your voices and I don't even know your names ( unless you leave me a comment or two :) ) but God knows everything about you and as I lift up the readers here at Redeeming Elegance, He knows each of you by name, what your needs are and what requests you have laid at His feet. May He bless each of you abundantly! OK, I won't keep you waiting any longer. Here is this week's reading plan: Monday - Ephesians 1 Tuesday - Ephesians 2 Wednesday - Ephesians 3 Thursday - Ephesians 4 Friday - Ephesians 5 And I'm trying something new. One of my goals for the year is to memorize more Scripture, individually as well as with my family. So, if any of you would like to join me, I will try to post a new verse(s) for memorization each week. Scripture of the week: "Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace." ~ Ephesians 4:2-3 NLT Keep reading God's Word! Joyfully His, Andrea Good morning, My Sweet Sisters!
It's been almost 4 months since I blogged and I'm so sorry we did not complete our Exodus study. A lot has happened these last three months for our family. We had a great Christmas, our 4th child turned 10 and we welcomed our 6th blessing on January 9th. So, for the past 12 weeks we've been snuggling a newborn, working into a new routine and avoiding the flu. Now that things are getting into a new normal around here, I am back to blogging and ready to jump into God's Word with each of you! If you are new here, let me welcome you to Redeeming Elegance. I am so glad you are here! The purpose of Redeeming Elegance is to encourage women in their daily walk with Christ, with a deep emphasis on reading Scripture daily. We do things quite simple around here, we read through one book of the Bible at time, reading one chapter a day (Monday - Friday), we leave the weekends open to allow for any "catch up" time you may need. See? Easy peasy! Each week, I will post the reading schedule and from time to time I'll post study notes or just my thoughts on what we have read. So, for those of you who were unable to finish the Exodus study, we are going to finish that this week. It's a total of 6 chapters. Here is our reading plan for the week: Monday - Exodus 35 Tuesday - Exodus 36-37 Wednesday - Exodus 38 Thursday - Exodus 39 Friday - Exodus 40 Starting next Monday, April 9th, we will begin our Spring Study. Join me here each week for an exciting journey through Ephesians and Leviticus. Begin praying with me now, that God will open our eyes, hearts, and minds to ALL that He has in store for us as we diligently seek His Word! As we begin our new spring study, please share this with ALL the ladies you know. This is also a great way to study in a small group, going through the Bible one book at a time, one chapter at a time. For those who have already finished up in Exodus, keep reading! Read a Psalm or Proverb each day to keep yourself soaked in God's Word. Also, feel free to go back through the archives and see what we have studied in the past. Through God's great mercy, we are embarking on our 3rd year here at Redeeming Elegance. May God continue to use this site to bless and encourage women as they seek to follow God each day. I'm so glad you are here! I'm praying for each of you this week! Keep reading God's Word! Joyfully His, Andrea |
